Basketball Recap: Travelers Rest Devildogs vs. Seneca Bobcats

Travelers Rest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Seneca Bobcats. The Devildogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 54-49.

Several Devildogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ellie Crain, who posted nine points in addition to five boards and three blocks. That's the most blocks Crain has posted since back in December of 2024.
