First Baptist Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Canterbury Cougars on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their 18th in a row.

Peyton Garrick had an outrageously good game as she had 17 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

When it comes to explaining why Canterbury lost, don't look at Julia Kim. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and two assists.

First Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 26-1. As for Canterbury, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 15-12 record.

First Baptist Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Marco Island Academy on the 16th. Canterbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
