Softball Recap: Circleville Comes Up Short

Circleville fell victim to Liberty Union and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Lions. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Circleville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Liberty Union, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Circleville will welcome Chillicothe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cavaliers have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Liberty Union, they will challenge Jackson at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Ironman/Ironladies have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
