Recap: Niangua Cardinals vs. Dadeville Bearcats
The Niangua Cardinals put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 60-49 victory over Dadeville. This was payback for Niangua, who suffered a 60-30 loss the last time these two teams met.
Niangua's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Scheetz led the charge by scoring 17 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Scheetz has scored at least 25% of Niangua's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton Henderson, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Niangua's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Dadeville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Niangua will be playing at home against Hurley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dadeville, they will head out on the road to face off against Everton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
