There's no place like home for Nicholas County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past the Princeton Tigers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Grizzlies have posted since October 9, 2024.

Nicholas County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Brooklyn Nunley paced Nicholas County's offense, picking up seven kills. Nunley got some help from Cami Prutsok and her nine assists. Taylor White controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Nicholas County pushed their record up to 4-15 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Princeton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nicholas County will head out to take on Hurricane at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Princeton, they will challenge Bluefield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
