Basketball Game Preview: St. Francis Indians vs. Rawlins County Buffaloes

St. Francis is on a 16-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Rawlins County a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The St. Francis Indians will host the Rawlins County Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. Francis is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 59 points on Saturday, they were much more limited against Decatur Community on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Red Devils 55-28.

Meanwhile, Rawlins County played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 64-40 to Logan/Palco. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while Logan/Palco are ranked 50th).

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Rawlins County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

St. Francis skirted past Rawlins County 59-56 in their previous matchup on Saturday. Will St. Francis repeat their success, or does Rawlins County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
