Volleyball Recap: Anna Belle Watts and Sophia Gorshak Secure Win for Lexington Christian

Lexington Christian won the last time they faced Anderson County and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Bearcats with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-13.

Leading Lexington Christian to victory were Sophia Gorshak and Anna Belle Watts. Gorshak had 14 digs, while Watts had three digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Lexington Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Lexington Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Anderson County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
