Volleyball Recap: Minnetonka's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Minnetonka lost against Lakeville back in September of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Skippers came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The loss put an end to the Skippers' undefeated start to the season.

While Minnetonka ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.

Having lost for the first time this season, Minnetonka fell to 2-1.

Minnetonka has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lakeville North on the 27th. As for Lakeville, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Shakopee at 5:30 p.m. on September 25.
