Football Recap: Westside Wolves vs. Ball Tornadoes

Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 54-17 defeat at the hands of the Ball Tornadoes. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-10.

Arentheis Winn had a dynamite game for Ball, rushing for 140 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Kyden Barker, who threw for 176 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes.

Westside's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ball, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westside is on the road again on Saturday to play Lamar at 6:00 p.m. As for Ball, they will venture away from home to square off against Sterling at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Sterling: 13.2, Ball: 12.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
