Salem is 9-1 against Hidden Valley since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will host the Titans at 7:00 p.m. Salem is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.

Salem is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Blacksburg on Friday. The Spartans fell 3-1 to the Bruins. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Salem couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Logan Lavinder, who's now up to nine this season.

Meanwhile, while Hidden Valley scored more goals than they have all season, the final result was a bit underwhelming. Neither they nor Northside could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw. There's a chance things could've gone differently had Hidden Valley not been charged with a red card from Jonathan Hamilton.

With that draw, Hidden Valley's record moves to 2-1-1. As for Salem, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Salem took their win against Hidden Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-1 score. In that contest, the Spartans amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
