Basketball Game Preview: Surry County Cougars vs. Windsor Dukes

The Surry County Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Windsor Dukes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Surry County was beaten by Franklin 68-38. The Cougars have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Windsor came into Wednesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 47-46 win over Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech.

Surry County's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Windsor, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-17.

Surry County came up short against Windsor in their previous meeting back in January, falling 44-40. Can Surry County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
