Soccer Recap: Coudersport Comes Up Short

Coudersport lost against Ridgway back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons lost 7-1 to the Elker. While losing is never fun, Coudersport can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 561st, while Ridgway are ranked 265th).

Coudersport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Ridgway, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coudersport will challenge Galeton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgway, they will face off against Northern Potter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
