Football Recap: Temple City Rams vs. San Marino Titans

Friday just wasn't the day for Temple City's offense. They had to suffer through a 44-0 loss at the hands of the San Marino Titans. The shutout was out of character for the Rams seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Jacob Paredes threw for 73 yards on seven of 19 attempts. Jake Leones was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards.

Parker Wilson produced another solid effort throwing for 175 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 53 yards and one TD on only six carries for San Marino. Wilson's passing game has become a key predictor of the Titans' success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Perry Lin, who picked up 75 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

This is the second loss in a row for Temple City and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for San Marino, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coincidentally, Temple City and San Marino will both be playing South Pasadena the next time they take the field. The Titans will head out to face the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
