Basketball Recap: Wray Eagles vs. Yuma Outlaws

Wray kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yuma Outlaws. Sheffield's big performance that evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Rose, who earned eight points and four steals.

Yuma has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Wray wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-34 victory against Merino on the 6th. As for Yuma, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-62 defeat against The Vanguard School on the 6th.
