Basketball Recap: Hamilton/Warsaw Piles Up the Points Against Mendon Unity

Hamilton/Warsaw strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 64-34 win over the Mendon Unity Mustangs. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Hamilton/Warsaw found their leader in freshman Maci Haas, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 24 points and seven boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Haas has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Scarlett Yuskis, who went 5-for-7 en route to 15 points.

Hamilton/Warsaw's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mendon Unity, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton/Warsaw will take on Illini West at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mendon Unity, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rushville-Industry at 6:00 p.m. on December 8.
