Last Thursday, Eldon was able to grind out a solid win over California, taking the game 3-1.
Eldon was staring down a 1-0 deficit headed into the second set, but they rallied to take the next three for the win. After all that action, the final score was 23-25, 27-25, 25-22, 25-16.
Reyna Taylor was a one-man wrecking crew for Eldon as she had 19 digs and four blocks. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Eldon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive contests dating back to last season.
