Richland waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Somerset Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Eagles back in August, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Addison Hirsch paced Richland's offense, picking up seven kills. Hirsch got some help from Brooklyn Roberts and her 11 assists. Roberts was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Richland's victory bumped their record up to 17-1-2. As for Somerset, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 17-1-1.

Richland has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Branch on the 13th. As for Somerset, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Forest Hills on the 16th.
