Volleyball Recap: True North Classical Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Sunset

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only True North Classical Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sunset Knights on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

While True North Classical Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-21.

True North Classical Academy's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-11. As for Sunset, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-15 record.

Looking ahead, True North Classical Academy will be playing at home against Immaculata-La Salle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Royal Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. Sunset does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
