Volleyball Recap: West Lowndes Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Lowndes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ingomar Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-8, 25-7.

Ingomar was led to victory by Peyton Wray and Bella Phifer. Wray had six kills, two blocks, and two aces, while Phifer hit 77.8% for 15 kills and nine aces and two blocks. Phifer is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 27 games she's played dating back to last season.

West Lowndes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Ingomar, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-4-1.

West Lowndes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Tupelo Christian Prep on the 22nd. As for Ingomar, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Smithville on the 22nd.
