Recap: Jarrell Cougars vs. John Paul II Centurions        
        
		
            
 The Jarrell Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They took their  contest on the road  with ease, bagging a  72-39 win over John Paul II. The  win was just what Jarrell needed coming off of a  70-43 loss in their prior  game.
 Jarrell's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Aniya Taylor, who  scored 21 points along with five  rebounds. That makes it 24 consecutive games in which  Taylor has scored at least 25% of Jarrell's points. Another player making a difference was  Kaydyn Edwards, who  scored 11 points along with six  rebounds and five  steals.
 Jarrell's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for John Paul II, they have  been struggling recently, as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
 Jarrell will head out on the road to face off against China Spring at 2:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. China Spring is coming into the  match on a three-game losing streak. As for John Paul II, they will be playing at home against Brentwood Christian at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
