Asheboro never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Southern Guilford Storm 37-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Blue Comets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Storm are ranked 258th).

Dallas Brinton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 128 yards and a pair of TDs. Dj Scott was in the mix as well, providing Asheboro with two scores.

Asheboro didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of William Sherrod and Garrison Cheek.

Asheboro's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Southern Guilford, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
