Volleyball Recap: Houston Takes a Loss

Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Susitna Valley Rams. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rams when the teams met back in October of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Houston's loss dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Susitna Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Houston and Redington will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Susitna Valley, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Mt. Edgecumbe on the 11th.
