Baseball Recap: East Beauregard Comes Up Short

East Beauregard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 17-0 to the Rosepine Eagles. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2019.

East Beauregard's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Rosepine, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Beauregard will square off against DeQuincy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. DeQuincy will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something East Beauregard surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rosepine, they will head out on the road to challenge Vinton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Rosepine 4, Vinton 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
