The Troup County Tigers entered their tilt with the Trinity Christian Lions with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Troup County took down Trinity Christian 28-14 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Troup County also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Troup County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Sinkfield, who threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Noah Dixon also deserves a shout-out for his three touchdowns.
Troup County's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.4 points per game. As for Trinity Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.
Troup County will head out on the road to face off against LaGrange at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 223 points over their last five contests. As for Trinity Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Fayette County at 7:30 p.m. Fayette County is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
