Washington took down West Craven on Tuesday, a win that might not have happened without Jacob Spivey's effort. Spivey produced his best game of the campaign: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

Spivey's strong effort led Washington over West Craven and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since June of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
