Volleyball Recap: West Florence Takes a Loss

West Florence lost against Conway back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-4, 25-20.

Drew Wilson paced West Florence's offense, picking up eight kills. Wilson got some help from Wells McBride and his 13 assists. Finally, Wilson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

West Florence dropped their record down to 10-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Conway, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-6.

West Florence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Ridge View on the 2nd. As for Conway, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against St. James on the 2nd.
