Football Game Preview: Maui vs. Baldwin

Maui have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Saturday they will take on Baldwin . Maui have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Baldwin are surely hoping to exploit.

There's no need to mince words: Maui lost to Lahainaluna two weeks ago, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-38. Maui's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Baldwin have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out King Kekaulike 30-27. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.

Everything came up roses for Maui against Baldwin five weeks ago as the team secured a 44-6 win. Will Maui repeat their success, or does Baldwin have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
