Basketball Recap: Michigan Collegiate Takes a Loss

Michigan Collegiate lost against Old Redford Academy back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars were outmatched by the Ravens and fell 72-41. The Cougars were down 63-33 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Michigan Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Old Redford Academy, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Michigan Collegiate will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Osborn at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. Old Redford Academy has already played their next matchup (against West Bloomfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
