Los Fresnos skates past Roma with ease

Recap: Los Fresnos Falcons vs. Roma Gladiators

The Los Fresnos Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season. They blew past Roma 77-34 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-13.

Los Fresnos' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gio Galvan led the charge by scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. The game was Galvan's 22nd in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jj Salazar, who scored 19 points along with six assists and five rebounds.

Los Fresnos' win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Roma, they bumped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Los Fresnos will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against United South at 2:00 p.m. on December 29th. Roma will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Nixon at 3:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
