Basketball Recap: Methacton Comes Up Short

Methacton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perkiomen Valley Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 58-54 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Methacton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Perkiomen Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Methacton is set to challenge their familiar foe Pope John Paul II at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Perkiomen Valley will square off against rival Boyertown at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
