Softball Recap: Pettus Comes Up Short

Pettus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 22-2 to the Kenedy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 19-1 defeat back in February.

Pettus' loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Kenedy, they pushed their record up to 13-6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Kenedy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Skidmore-Tynan at 6:00 p.m. Kenedy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
