Soccer Recap: Portland Adventist Academy Starts Season with Win at Home

Portland Adventist Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Columbia Christian Knights with a sharp 8-2 win.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Portland Adventist Academy will host De La Salle North Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Portland Adventist Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Columbia Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Faith Bible Christian at 4:30 p.m. on September 8. The matchup will also give Columbia Christian their first taste of in-conference action this season.
