Softball Game Preview: Ingraham Rams vs. Rainier Beach Vikings

For the second straight game, Ingraham will face off against Rainier Beach. The two teams, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Ingraham's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four games.

Last Thursday, Ingraham came up short against Rainier Beach and fell 17-13.

For Rainier Beach's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Kabatxi, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Kabatxi has posted since back in April of 2025. Keira Dassa was another, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.

Ingraham dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those road losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Rainier Beach, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.
