Baseball Recap: Halls Comes Up Short

Halls lost against Powell back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4.

Halls' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Powell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Halls will head out to face off against South-Doyle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Powell, they will challenge Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
