Soccer Game Preview: Piper vs. South Plantation

Piper hasn't had much luck against South Plantation recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Piper Bengals will be playing at home against the South Plantation Paladins at 4:00 p.m. Piper will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Piper's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over Northeast. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Northeast with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isabel Ocasio (3), Lauren Gentles (3), and Melody Delamotte.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, South Plantation was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 6-1 to Coral Glades.

Piper pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six matchups. As for South Plantation, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1.
