After a string of nine wins, Albemarle's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (59-53), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hilltoppers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Albemarle's defeat ended a 14-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-3. As for Glass, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Albemarle and Glass should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Albemarle will square off against Louisa County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 346 places (21 vs. 367). Albemarle is looking to tack on another W to their 14-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Meanwhile, Glass (ranked 57th) will meet Liberty (ranked 343rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
