Baseball Recap: Wilmot Comes Up Short

Wilmot lost against Badger on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell 5-2 to the Badgers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilmot saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Price, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Preston Jones was another, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.

Wilmot's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Badger, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilmot will venture away from home to square off against East Troy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Badger, they will head out to challenge Watertown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
