The Avon Grove Charter Wolves were the 71-39 winner over the West Nottingham Rams when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Avon Grove Charter ended up on the wrong side of a tough 51-31 walloping at the hands of the Rams on Monday.

Despite the loss, Avon Grove Charter saw an underclassman step up: Samir Masih scored six points.

Avon Grove Charter now has a losing record at 8-9. As for West Nottingham, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Avon Grove Charter will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Tome focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Friday. As for West Nottingham, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on February 6th. Phelps knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully the Rams like a good challenge.
