Wesclin's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Mater Dei Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. Wesclin's winning goal came courtesy of Addi Amancio.

Wesclin's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-3-2. As for Mater Dei, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wesclin will challenge East Alton-Wood River at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mater Dei, they will square off against Belleville West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
