Soccer Recap: York Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times York and Crete had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Dukes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals on Thursday. If York were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Crete when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

York's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Crete, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

As of now, neither York nor Crete have any future games scheduled.
