Forestview is a perfect 10-0 against North Gaston since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Jaguars will venture away from home to face off against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Forestview lost 3-0 to South Point on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Red Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-14.

Despite their loss, Forestview saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Mattie Queen, who had ten digs and two assists, was perhaps the best of all.

Meanwhile, North Gaston came up short against Cherryville on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-14, 19-25, 25-11, 25-22.

North Gaston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Forestview, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Forestview was able to grind out a solid victory over North Gaston in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
