Basketball Recap: Herron Takes a Loss

Herron lost against Indianapolis Washington back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Herron Achaeans took a blow against the Indianapolis Washington Continentals, falling 75-31. The Achaeans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Achaeans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josiah Clarke, who posted four points. Another player making a difference was Cj Stephens, who scored four points.

Even though they lost, Herron was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Herron's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Indianapolis Washington, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

When Herron and Indianapolis Washington next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Herron will try to stop Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Indianapolis Washington will square off against Christel House and their seven-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
