Baseball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

Brooks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 4-0 to the Pingree Highlanders. Brooks was not able to make up for their defeat to Pingree from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Brooks' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pingree, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Brooks will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Belmont Hill at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hillies will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Brooks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pingree, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beaver Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Highlanders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
