Baseball Recap: Quincy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Parchment

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Quincy). They put the hurt on the Parchment Panthers with a sharp 14-6 win on Saturday. This was payback for the Orioles, who suffered a 5-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Quincy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Parchment, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Quincy and Parchment will both be playing Camden-Frontier the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Redskins at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Orioles will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
