Football Recap: Wheatland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Wheatland and Newcastle have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Bulldogs took a hard 29-13 fall against the Dogies. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Dogies from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Wheatland dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Newcastle, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

As of now, neither Wheatland nor the Dogies have any future games scheduled.
