Soccer Recap: Providence Christian Has No Trouble Against Ariton

Providence Christian kept a clean sheet against Ariton on Monday. They put the hurt on the Ariton Purple Cats with a sharp 7-0 win. It was an even better day for Raegan Elmore as she scored three goals for her team.

Providence Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5-1. As for Ariton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Providence Christian will head out to square off against Houston Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Houston Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season. As for Ariton, they will host Eufaula at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Ariton has given up an average of 6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
