Soccer Recap: The Rock Takes a Loss

The Rock managed to slip by Eastland Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rock Lions lost 4-1 to the Eastland Christian Hurricanes on Thursday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The Rock's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Eastland Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Rock will venture away from home to take on Ruskin Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastland Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Riverbend Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
