Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Patrick). They never let the Our Lady Academy Crescents get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Ave DiFilippo looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single walk any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Elizabeth Colson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Sophia Oehms was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

St. Patrick always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .815. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

St. Patrick now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Our Lady Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

St. Patrick has already played their next match (against Gulfport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Our Lady Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-4 defeat against West Marion on the 17th.
