Basketball Recap: Aqsa Takes a Loss

Aqsa was the 47-26 winner over Universal when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Aqsa Legends fell 39-31 to the Universal Stars on Friday.

Despite the loss, Aqsa still got an impressive performance from Noor Saleh, who posted 25 points. Saleh's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Aqsa now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Universal, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Unity Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Aqsa will head out to face Unity Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Universal will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
