Basketball Recap: Valhalla Comes Up Short

Valhalla lost against Granite Hills back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Valhalla Norsemen fell to the Granite Hills Eagles 53-48.

Granite Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lathan Fry led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Fry is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Andre Dankha was another key player, going 7-for-16 to rack up 18 points and five assists.

Valhalla's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Granite Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Valhalla nor Granite Hills have any future games scheduled.
